The 'Wesak International Film Festival 2015' opens this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. All are welcome!

The Wesak International Film Festival (WIFF) opens in Kuala Lumpur this weekend!  This is the fourth time that Buddhist organizations in Malaysia are collectively organizing the festival to showcase the best in Buddhist films as part of the annual Wesak celebrations.

WIFF 2015 presents all kinds of Buddhist-themed films – ranging from full-length movies, to documentaries, animation, and children’s shows.  Its objective is to create greater awareness of Buddhism among the general public through the medium of films.

The festival will be held at the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MATIC), 109 Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.  Screening days are on (Saturdays and Sundays) 20-21 and 27-28 June.  You may view the screening schedule at WIFF 2015 website at http://www.wiff.org.my/index.php.  For further enquiries, please call 03-7804-9154 (YBAM Office) during office hours.
