In the evening of Wesak ‘Buddha Day’, prior to the annual ‘Heritage Procession’, many devotees turned up for the “Mass Food Offering” at Nalanda Centre Sri Serdang. Generous donors of food were also seen serving the public joyfully, selflessly and respectfully, deep in the spirit of loving-kindness.
Another Wesak highlight at Nalanda was the “Dhamma Appreciation Night” with a Dhamma Talk by Sis. Tan Yee Yong and a stage performance by young Nalandians. This year, our youths and Dharma School students jointly put up a superb drama and dance show. The contemporary performance wowed the audience with its simple message and dynamic movements, which truly revealed the “Dhamma through drama”!
Nalanda Buddhist Society would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for your kind presence and support to Nalanda over the four-day Wesak programme starting 11 May. Thanks to all who have participated and contributed towards making this year’s Wesak Observance a meaningful and joyful one.
Having renewed our spiritual aspirations, let us continue our upward strive towards more peace and happiness. Sadhu anumodana!
