On Sunday 16 July, Nalanda Youth Centre hosted 15 leaders and members from Komunitas Mahasiswa Buddhis (KMB) Widyodaya, the Buddhist Society of Prasetiya Mulya University in Jakarta, Indonesia.  They embarked on a trip to Malaysia and paid a visit to Nalanda after inviting Nalanda youths to share about Buddhist Education and how to run effective Dhamma programmes for youths.

Their visit commenced by joining the weekly Youth Sunday Service which featured a lively Dhamma chat with Sis Paru and fellowship activities.  They were then brought on a building tour of Nalanda Centre by Youth Leader Bro. Kuan Yi where they were introduced to many Dhamma reflections and how Nalanda conducts Buddhist educational programmes.

The visit concluded with an inspiring meeting with Nalanda leaders – Sis. Nandinī Tan, Bro. Charlie Teng, and Sis. Santī Cheang.  The Nalanda leaders advised them to always have Dhamma in the heart.  That way, the Dhamma stays with them wherever they go, especially after their undergraduate studies instead of limited to the friends they have made in the Society.

We thank KMB Widyodaya for visiting us at Nalanda Youth Centre, and we wish them continued strength and stability to bring the light of Dhamma to their community.
