On Sunday 13 October, 50 participants of the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults gathered physically and virtually at Nalanda Centre for a Reunion Day.
The Reunion Day featured learning sessions with Camp speakers Sis. Sunandā Ong and Bro. Aggaphala Yap. Sis. Sunandā explained more about mental hindrances and how to overcome them, a continuation of the Camp theme’s – “Peace begins with Me”. Bro. Aggaphala conducted a Question & Answer session to clear doubts and address challenges the youths faced in practising what they have learnt.
The youths also had the opportunity to meet their Family members formed during the Camp and reconnected to share the journey they had gone through and the transformations they have made to their lives after the Camp. A Dhamma Chat was also conducted after lunch for the participants to speak with Sis. Paru and Sis. Hui Shien, the speakers during the Camp.
The Reunion Day concluded with a touching rendition of a song that was sung during the Camp, with photos of the Camp overlaying the lyrics to reminisce on the joyful memories and life-long friendships made. We thank Sis. Ho Wen Ying and Sis. Amanda Ng for leading the Organising Team during the Camp and arranging this joyful follow-up session to ensure that the Dhamma-living is continually cultivated in the participants. Sadhu anumodāna!
