Certificate in Buddhist Studies

(General)

This programme consists of four modules:
Basic Buddhist Doctrines;
Buddhist Devotional Practice;
Text & Scriptures (Historical Development);
and Term Assignments.

All four modules will be completed in one semester (six months). Enrolment is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above, and proficient in English Language.

Off-campus Courses

The Flower of Mankind

In the upcoming semester from July to December 2008, Nalanda Institute is conducting some of the popular Commentarial Courses off-campus.

The courses will be held in Suttarama Buddhist Society in Kuala Terengganu, Gurun Buddhist Association in Central Kedah, and Mettarama Meditation Centre in Kota Bharu.

This effectively makes our courses available to benefit even more people, not just to the community in the Klang Valley, but also in other parts of Malaysia.
