Tipitaka Honour

The Dhamma Society of Thailand and the World Tipitaka Council recently presented the Royal Gift of Tipitaka to ten institutions from Asia and Europe in memory of their late Royal Patron, HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, who passed away in early 2008. The late princess was the elder sister of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the present King Rama IX. A special presentation ceremony was held at the Constitutional Court, which is the highest judicial authority in Thailand.
