Evam sankāra bhūtesu
andhabhūte puthujjane
Atirocati paññāya
sammāsambuddha sāvako
… Even so, amongst worthless beings,
a disciple of the Fully-Enlightened One
outshines the ignorant worldlings  
in wisdom.

sankāra [ Lit. rubbish ]  the worthless
bhūtesu beings
andhabhūte blind;  ignorant
