Sududdasam sunipunam
yatthakāma nipātinam
Cittam rakkhetha medhāvī
cittam guttam sukhāvaham

The mind is very hard to perceive,
extremely subtle, it flits to wherever it desires.
Let the wise person guard it;
a well-guarded mind is conducive to happiness.
